Recently, Tangshan Train Operation of China Railway has partnered to deploy dozens of Porient intelligent IP video terminals PZ100 and PZ088 in the dispatching room of Train Operation Depot and various intermediate stations under its jurisdiction, for daily command and dispatching, notification issuance, work deployment, task reporting, and other related tasks.

The dispatch office is responsible for ensuring the normal operation of all vehicles, promptly handling special situations, and frequently communicating with various intermediate stations under its jurisdiction. Before the deployment, dispatchers had to make multiple phone calls to notify dispatching matters one by one, which was extremely time-consuming and laborious.

In order to enhance the efficiency, customer has decided to upgrade its communication equipment and adopt the intelligent IP video terminal, upgrading the communication method to multi-party video and voice conferencing. Since then, dispatchers can quickly send one-to-three video notifications or one-to-five voice notifications when issuing notices. The intelligent IP video terminal boasts clear image and sound quality, and convenient and easy-to-use control functions, making notice issuance simpler and significantly improving work efficiency. Through peer-to-peer video, it is also possible to grasp the overall safety production and operation situation of each station in a real-time, comprehensive, intuitive, fast, and accurate manner, and to conduct on-site inspections via video to check whether personnel are on duty and whether their dress and appearance are standardized.
