Recently, Hohhot Railway has partnered with Porient to deploy desktop video conference system across the Hohhot Railway Bureau and its various departments and railway sections. This system includes an MCU video conference server capable of supporting 100 participants joining the conference simultaneously, as well as 122 desktop video conference terminals PZ100, facilitating internal daily meetings, task instruction dissemination, and work deployment.
As a border port bureau and a hub bureau for the North China coal transportation corridor, the Hohhot Railway Bureau plays a crucial role in the import and export of key energy resources. Coupled with its numerous departments, the large number of stations under its jurisdiction, scattered distribution, and long lines between stations and between stations and train depots, rapid, intuitive, and convenient communication means are of utmost importance. Convenient audio and video communication can enhance communication efficiency, making task instructions and work deployment more efficient.
The deployment of desktop video teleconferencing system has facilitated fast, intuitive, and convenient internal audio and video communication between the Hohhot Railway Bureau's headquarters and its subordinate workshops and departments, such as the signaling and communication section and the track maintenance section. It allows for the initiation of multi-party audio and video calls, the organization of meetings, and the conveyance of instructions at any time, providing efficiency and convenience. This saves time on daily appointments and meeting arrangements. Furthermore, it supports up to 100 terminals joining the meeting simultaneously, greatly facilitating daily communication and emergency response, significantly reducing time costs for customers, and notably enhancing work efficiency!
