Video Conferencing--Tianjin International Airport
2022-08-12

Recently, Tianjin International Airport has partnered with Porient to deploy video conferencing system for the upgrade, transformation, and expansion of the existing video conferencing system, in order to better meet daily internal and external meeting communication, instruction delivery, and work deployment needs.

The existing conference terminal has been in use for many years, with outdated equipment and no video conferencing platform established, making daily conference communication and work transmission quite inconvenient. Renovation and expansion are imperative.

Based on the customer's demand for building an internal efficient communication platform, Porient customized a high-definition video conferencing system that supports simultaneous participation of 10 conference terminals. A ultra-high-definition terminal PZ600 was deployed in each of the three video conferencing locations: the video conference room on the third floor of the airport building, the multimedia conference room on the fifth floor of the west floating island in Terminal 2, and the emergency consultation room on the sixth floor. Additionally, a unified communication terminal PZ100 was installed in the conference room on the fourth floor of the airport building. Through the high integration of desktop communication terminals with the video conferencing system, efficient and convenient internal meetings can be held in all four conference rooms in the east and west areas of Tianjin Binhai International Airport at any time, greatly saving time for personnel to travel to and from the conference rooms and enhancing quality and efficiency for users.
