State Grid of Longyan has partnered with Porient to deploy desktop  video conferencing system in the city dispatch control center and the dispatch units of its subordinate counties, aiming to enhance the efficiency of off-site shift handovers and the accuracy of information transmission.

    Video Conferencing is a large state-owned enterprise. The company headquarters has a total of 13 functional departments and 12 supporting institutions. It also oversees 7 county (city, district) companies and 103 power supply stations. Facing increasingly complex distribution dispatching affairs and in order to save human resources and improve personnel work efficiency, the  Dispatching and Control Center advocates promoting cross-regional business and regional joint dispatching within the province. This involves the issue of cross-regional shift handover and requires the re-establishment of communication channels. State Grid of Longyan actively responded to the provincial dispatch call and upgraded the remote shift handover for the joint dispatch of the dispatching center.

     The Porient desktop visualization system has been deployed at the municipal dispatching control center and the dispatching units of each county under its jurisdiction. The system includes a master station server and a batch of desktop terminals. Realize the synchronous transmission of real-time video, cloud platform logs, and DMS circuit maps among dispatching units in different regions, enhancing the efficiency of shift handover and the accuracy of information transmission.
