Recently, State Grid of Yueyang has reached a cooperation agreement with Porient to install and deploy high-definition video conferencing system. This truly achieves the coverage of video conferencing at the grassroots level, and realizes the interconnection of video conferencing at the city, district, and institute levels.

With the development of various businesses of State Grid of Yueyang, work discussions, meetings, and training between the city company, district and county companies, and their subordinate power supply stations have become increasingly frequent. Covering video conferences to the grassroots level to improve work efficiency, strengthen cooperation, reduce travel and achieve resource sharing has become an urgent need for the city company.

State Grid of Yueyang originally had a video conferencing system, but it cannot cover the power supply station and cannot hold a dedicated meeting from the city company to the power supply station separately, which no longer meets the requirements of the current work.

In view of the above requirements, Porient has provided one split type ultra high definition video conference terminal, 15 integrated ultra high definition video conference terminals, 65 integrated high definition video conference terminals, and one MCU collaborative communication platform, which are installed respectively, various district and county companies, and subordinate power supply stations to achieve high-definition two-way video conferences between Yueyang and various districts and power supply stations. The Porient video conferencing system is perfectly compatible with the original video conferencing system, improving the conference management efficiency and significantly reducing project costs.
