Recently, the Chaoyang Branch of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau has reached a cooperation agreement with Porient to build a lawyer remote visiting system for lawyers to remotely meet with detainees.
In the context of severe epidemic prevention and control work, in order to reduce personnel contact and build a fast meeting platform, the Chaoyang Branch, in conjunction with Porient, has launched a remote lawyer meeting system. The police stations under the jurisdiction of Chaoyang Sub bureau have connected with the inquiry desk of the detention center and several desktop video terminals PZ088 of grassroots police stations through the newly added terminals, achieving point-to-point video voice and high-definition picture communication, and completing remote video meetings between lawyers and detainees. After the system deployment is completed, detainees do not need to leave the detention area, and lawyers do not need to go to the detention center. Lawyers can conduct interviews at the nearest police station and complete inquiries on the spot, effectively saving time, space, and labor costs, and making the interview work more smooth and efficient.
